Please note: of course the adventure lesson is also possible for children, but only when accompanied and suitable for ages 8 and up.
FAQ – frequently asked Questions
What does this cost?
The experience hour costs €210.00 for one person and €30.00 for each additional person. Payment is usually made on site at the checkout at the Elephant Farm when the voucher is redeemed. It is also possible to pay in advance by bank transfer; an invoice will of course be issued stating the invoice number and the name of the person receiving the gift. Accompanying persons are not excluded from the adventure lesson. You can walk along, take photos or film during this time. Accompanying persons pay the normal entrance fee.
Do I have to register in advance?
Yes, you need an exact date for the adventure lesson. Appointments can be made by telephone or email. Appointments are only possible during the season and not on our rest days.
Can you be involved in taking care of the elephants?
Together with a keeper you can feed the gray giant, shower him (weather permitting) or take him for a walk.
What do elephants eat?
Favorite foods are apples, bananas, carrots and gummy bears. The food can be purchased from us.
Can I express my own wishes?
Naturally. Each hour of experience is designed individually and according to the wishes of the guests. You can look into the animals’ mouths, look deep into their eyes or look under the feet of an elephant. Unfortunately, a ride is not possible.
What if the weather is bad?
The experience hour is outside on the meadow. If the weather does not permit staying outdoors, the lesson can also take place in a sheltered tent.
How long is a voucher valid?
The voucher is valid indefinitely. A cash payment is excluded.
